HGTV behind the scene

I hope that you were able to watch the "Designers' Challenge" episode on HGTV. I was thrilled to be a part of such an exciting project! Please, join me now for a "Behind The Scenes" look at the entire experience!

I am a silent but great fan of your work done on Designers Challenge. I have recorded your show and view it for ideas, frequently. I love the fact that you can think out of the box because that is exactly what I need. Las Vegas NV

Dear Mr Appolloni,

Just a note to tell you that your design for the Tuscan kitchen was one of the most stunning I've ever seen. After checking out your website, I'm even more impressed.

Congratulations on such great work.

Judy Tornatore

I loved your kitchen design. I just loved the final 'mood' in this remodel. Thank you for the inspiration.

Thanks, Terri Bodin

I just watched the remodel you did on HGTV – loved it.  Wow!

I saw your kitchen design remodel on Designers' Challenge today and was blown away. I have never seen a design as well though out, constructed, outside of the box, functional, and just plain amazing as your design. I was immediately drawn to my computer to research your company and review more of your design work. As an amature decorator wanting to go to design school, I was truly inspired. Thank you.

Dear Mr. Appolloni,

After YEARS of NOT watching HGTV due to COUNTLESS repeats, I happened to record a Designers' Challenge episode on my DVR.

I watched it today, & since I'm into contemporary, almost deleted it within 3 minutes, but something made me see the rest. When I saw YOUR presentation, I was laughing out loud... The difference between the 3 presentations ALONE was SO vast, & the ideas were SO much better, if the couple had chosen ANYBODY else, they would've been BLITHERING IDIOTS.

I wrote your name, found your site, read & watched it THOROUGHLY...it fits... You're unique.

I'm in Santa Barbara, & you're not... What a shame... Is there a place where that segment can be seen on the net? I'd like my architect to watch it & understand what I mean when I say it's HARD for me to VISUALIZE his ideas from 2 dimensional drawings... I DO like your behind the scenes video, but I'd like him to see your presentation as well...

Anyway... I'm glad to know people like you exist... It gives one hope...

Very Sincerely,

Sam Gerard

I saw the HGTV episode for the kitchen remodel. It was great! Atlanta

Dear Steve, I loved what you did for the family with triplets. Janie Koch   Pass Christian, MS

What a kitchen. I love the contemporary hood-vent against the old world feeling. rose santa fe

Steve,

We saw a kitchen remodel you did on HGTV and LOVED it! Do you ever get up to

Alaska? Do you know anyone who comes close to your vision that may be up here? We

have a log home an will be remodeling our kitchen either next winter or the

following. I'm interested in hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Anne Tisch

Anchorage, Alaska

You really thought outside box in comparison with other designers. I loved the copper in the skylights and was amazed by the process of creating the kitchen off site first. Vicki Marshall Crystal Lake, IL -

All I have to say is OMG, I love curves and hidden surprises, clutter free and a total pop in color.  I stumbled upon your website from HGTV trying to gather ideas for what I want with my house that is riddled with "what I don't have" bumps each and every day.

Our remodel is going to be extensive, but after searching and searching through architects that build within the box, I found your site-----with an eye for hidden treasures and not just pretty colors and textures.  That is what I am looking for.

Would you consider a job in Utah?

I loved what you did on the tuscan kitchen show on hgtv!!!  I would like to redo my kitchen, have a lot of doors and windows to go around, and it is fairly small, want to make it larger by taking over the dining room, etc.  I have had several plans drawn up, none of which have totally worked yet.  It seems each takes away something to give something and I am ending up in the same place I am now  -- really compromising alot.  Is there anything you can offer from where you stand?

I am baffled as to how you did it!!!

thanks a bunch.

Dear Steve,

My name is Sandy Frost and I live in Altamonte Springs, Fl which is just north of Orlando.  I just watched the HGTV Designer’s Challenge of the Tuscan kitchen you did.  Your ideas are tremendous.  I am looking for this type of person to help with my kitchen remodel next year.

I wish you lived here because I would know who to call. Your idea of the domed ceiling with copper lining, building the kitchen off site and being aware of the homeowners needs were simply outstanding.  I have been watching this show for about a year, and this is the greatest thing I have ever seen.  You are truly a blessed man.

Thank you for your time.

Comments from friends

We watched the show and were really impressed with your totally original design concept. Particularly impressed with the beautiful copper ceiling combined with the fabulous natural lighting. Fantastic attention to detail. Gorgeous job, absolutely stunning! Dan and Carol.

The show was so fun to watch. My husband and I really liked the show and were impressed with how you did the 3 dimensional model instead of just drawings. You really did think outside the box and it was really neat to watch it unfold. I never even heard of some of the gadgets included in the remodel....like the stove controls being hidden and the refrigerator ideas. The copper ceiling and the island with the wood pedastals was beautiful.

The whole process of moving it with cranes was interesting. What a concept! Your work is amazing.
