The new kitchen is in the back room that was added a few years back for extra space. Now the new kitchen  has direct access to and views of the back yard that are simply tranquil.  The high ceiling provided a spacious feel but challenged  the overall feel for a kitchen  The raspberry colored wall  provided an anchor for utilities and the lid was used as an electrical chase and provided general lighting.
