The original living room was cold in the winter due to the 25’ ceilings. A loft was added to allow for ductwork and to bring the ceiling down. Affecting the fire place had an impact on design style that would now also affect the kitchen. Today, a new kitchen, living room and loft allow for more functional and comfortable entertaining areas.
